This reality leads us, as a country, to have a long way to go in dealing with social, technological and economic barriers that may prevent accelerated growth regarding the issue of renewable energy in Colombia.

This targeted growth can be attributed to new government policies that provide funding for renewable energy projects, energy efficiency measures and the announcement of renewable energy auctions in 2018, says GlobalData, a leading data and analysis firm.
