The compact subway substation "miniSUB" will be presented by a specialized team belonging to Industrias Ectricol at the IV International Electrical Sector Fair, FISE 2011, which will take place in Medellin from November 30th to December 2nd.
As Ormazabal's strategic partner, Industrias Ectricol seeks to strengthen the national electricity industry through the Minisub. This product is designed to be used in public medium voltage electrical distribution networks, having as an innovative feature a subway installation, a reduced size and excellent safety conditions.
"The miniSUB is a compact transformer substation, enclosed in a concrete box with a surface finish that generates zero environmental impact. Both the protection system and the transformation system are perfectly installed and isolated inside the concrete capsule", explained Antonio Hincapié, CEO of Industrias Ectricol. He also adds that "with the introduction of this product, it is expected to reach the public sector, the industrial and residential sector, optimizing at the same time areas dedicated to external installations and generating at the same time friendly atmospheres for the environment",
The fair in which this product will be presented is characterized by being an event that promotes and generates business for local and foreign entrepreneurs and companies. It seeks to strengthen the Colombian electricity sector in order to contribute to the country's economic development. Thus, not only Colombian companies will participate, but also companies and businessmen from China, Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica and Venezuela.
