Nearly 200 companies that will be part of the business exhibition, with representation in Mexico, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia, all of which, in addition to publicizing their products and services, will be able to access business opportunities. The event will have among its components the National Suppliers Hall and the International Buyers Mission, the participation of about 200 buyers from Colombian companies and 50 from different countries of South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Michael Reid, editor of The Economist for the United States and columnist for various Latin American media, will be on the list of high level national and international speakers for the congress "Supply Chain Management, Support for Competitiveness". He is also considered one of the world's leading authorities on political, social and business culture, and will present a lecture related to the future of the economy in Latin America.

The International Electrical Sector Fair - FISE 2009 is an initiative led by the Mayor's Office of Medellin, the Medellin Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia, the Center for Research and Technological Development of the Electrical Sector - CIDET, and the Electrical Energy Cluster. It is an international showcase that has reserved an area of 9 300 m2 in the white, blue and yellow exhibition halls of the Palacio de Exposiciones y Convenciones in Medellín to promote the pursuit of trade agreements and strategic national and international alliances.
