This year on the 19th of October, the first six-monthly visit by students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from La Salle University took place. The purpose of the visit was for the students to have an in-depth knowledge of the entire process of design, manufacture and testing of Low Voltage electrical switchboards, allowing a practical approach between the student and the production development. The students enrolled in the professional elective course "Cells and Electrical Switchboards" said the following about the experience received in INDUSTRIAS ECTRICOL: Efrén Romero: "It is important from the technical point of view because these are visits that will guide us towards what Electrical Engineering really is. This guidance is primarily focused on Low Voltage use of cells and switchboards, is a way of understanding what are the tasks and functions to apply in this area. For us this is a complement which joins the theoretical part with the practical part.” Manuel Galindo: "The company handles all the processes very well, concerning to what this kind of visits bring to us, it is to link practical and theoretical knowledge, this will help us to acquire knowledge for our working life.” Andrés Torres: "What interested me about the visit was the organizational part of the company. How they manage the infrastructure both in their facilities and with their administrative staff. The environmental aspect handled is very important and the technical part is very enriching, because what we have seen in the elective course "Cells and Electrical Switchboards" broadens all that knowledge through the whole workforce process.”
