The Cuenca Tram, an Ecuadorian city, capital of the province of Azuay called "Athens of Ecuador". In this beautiful historical city, we worked on the most important road infrastructure project in Ecuador, the largest public transportation system in that city and the first tram in the country. Industrias Ectricol supplied 96 stainless steel switchboards with Nema 4X (IP 66) protection grade, assisting with the growth and improvement of the road infrastructure in Cuenca, Ecuador. The system will provide transportation for about 120 000 passengers per day and 39 million per year. It consists of a total of 20 km of light rail, which will strengthen and expand mobility in Cuenca.
