We are very proud of being part of the provision of low voltage cabinets, with lightweight aluminum technology and powered-coated finish, with IP 65 degree of protection; specially designed to be installed at the El Dorado airport photovoltaic project, which will have the largest photovoltaic installation in Latin America among air terminals, consisting of 10 369 solar panels. The annual power generation capacity will be 3 800 thousand kW, about 12% of the airport's energy consumption and will prevent the emission of 1 375 tons of CO2, contributing in a small percentage to the protection of the environment.
Industrias Ectricol has the technology, the knowledge and the will to create new solutions that provide the electric market with innovative alternatives that satisfy the different needs and demands of the Colombian industry. Currently we have started the RETIE certification process for cabinet solutions designed for the photovoltaic sector up to 1500 VDC -1000 VAC and up to 2500 A.
We want to highlight the excellent work performed by the Ectricol team starting with the proposal, mechanical design, project management, manufacturing, welding, painting, assembly, testing, logistics, purchasing, commercial and in general all the processes involved in the execution of this important project.
The aluminum cabinets were developed especially for the client Green Yellow due to a weight restriction, where it was possible to reduce almost 30% of the weight initially offered. It was possible to verify that the innovations concerning product, technology and materials are achieved due to the real need of a client or the existence of a problem.
